CATHOLIC MEN ASSOCIATION AT THE RESURRECTION CHURCH IN BURTONSVILLE MARYLAND

The Catholic Men’s Association is an action group open to all adult males 18 years and older, married and unmarried catholic Christians. We strive to emulate the example of St. Joseph our patron saint in our homes, jobs and in the community. Our feast day is March 19th which is the feast day of St Joseph as the husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary and as the foster-father of Jesus Christ. The idea of the group was nursed in the summer of 2012 and it was eventually realized on Easter Sunday March 2013 with the dedication of its pioneer members by our spiritual director Rev, Dr. MSGR Patrick Lafon.

GOAL:

  1. Forster Christian principles and catholic ideas.
  1. Promote spiritual, moral, material welfare and the development of the community.
  1. Visit and pray with the sick, support the homeless and underprivileged in our society.

SALUTATION:

Speaker: ST. Joseph….

Response: Man of Honor, pray for us

Meetings:

  1. We pray the rosary by conference call every Wednesday from 9 – 9:45pm in addition to meeting on the second Saturdays of every month from 6 – 8pm.

Our Spiritual Director is Rev. Dr. Msgr. Patrick Lafon
